Billy Bonbon

A short-lived but fondly remembered Swedish comic from Semic Press, Billy Bonbon ran for four issues between 1973 and 1975. The series is most closely associated with French artist Jean Cézard, whose clean, expressive linework brought the character's lighthearted, gag-driven adventures to life. Though brief, it stands as a charming example of the European-influenced humor comics that filled Swedish newsstands in the early 1970s.
