Bionicle

In 2003, Egmont launched a standalone Bionicle comic series that ran for 11 issues, expanding the LEGO toyline's epic sci-fi-fantasy world through self-contained adventures. Written primarily by Greg Farshtey, with art by Carlos D'Anda and Randy Elliott, the series deepened the lore of the Toa Mata's quest on the island of Mata Nui, introducing key conflicts and characters that would define the saga. Though brief, this run is notable for its tight, character-driven storytelling and its role in bridging the gap between the earlier Bionicle comics and the later, more sprawling narratives.
