In this short-lived Danish translation of the long-running Franco-Belgian series Les Tuniques Bleues, cartoonist Willy Lambil and writer Raoul Cauvin (along with Per Vadmand) bring their signature blend of historical comedy and adventure to Egmont’s readership. Set during the American Civil War, the series follows the misadventures of two Union soldiers—a bumbling corporal and his more sensible sergeant—as they stumble through battles, bureaucracy, and absurd situations. Though only four issues were published in this 2000–2001 run, it represents a key entry point for Danish audiences into one of Europe’s most beloved humorous war comics.
