About the series
In the early 2000s, the Belgian publisher Arboris released Black Hills, a four-issue series in which the creative team of writers Yves Swolfs and Joke van der Klink, alongside artist Marc-Renier (also credited as Marc-Renier Warnauts), brought a distinct European comics sensibility to the project.
