About the series
Grant McKay, a disgraced scientist, leads an expedition through the mysterious "Pillar" into alternate dimensions in this Image Comics series from 2016. Written by Rick Remender with art by Matteo Scalera, the story follows the Anarchist League of Scientists as they fight to survive bizarre, hostile worlds and the consequences of their own reckless experiments. Though only three issues in, Black Science has already established itself as a visually stunning, high-concept sci-fi adventure that explores themes of failure, redemption, and the chaos of unchecked discovery.
