Blixt Gordon
Red Clown · 1973–1974 · 9 issues
About the series
In the early 1970s, the Swedish publisher Red Clown revived the classic space-adventure strip Blixt Gordon for a nine-issue comic run, reprinting the iconic work of writer-artist Alex Raymond and writer Don Moore from the 1930s and 1940s. This series brought Raymond's dynamic, cinematic artwork and Moore's thrilling serialized storytelling to a new European audience, preserving the original Flash Gordon saga at a time when the character's legacy was being rediscovered. Though short-lived, this collection stands as a key archival release, showcasing the foundational science-fiction heroics that defined an era of newspaper strips.
