Blood Letting

FantaCo Enterprises’ Blood Letting launched in 1995 and ran for two issues, a short-lived but distinctive series from the era’s indie-comics landscape. The creative team—writers and artists Chynna Clugston, Guy Major, and S. Daxton Balzer—crafted a moody ensemble piece centered on a cast including Chretian, Cosette Cautier, Kyle, Lawrence, Maxamillian, and Satori Valentine. Though brief, it’s a snapshot of mid-90s alternative comics, notable for the early involvement of Clugston, who would go on to become a celebrated creator in her own right.
