In the late 1980s, Semic revived the classic Western saga Blueberry for a ten-issue run, reuniting the iconic artistic duo of Jean Giraud and Jijé with writer Jean-Michel Charlier. This series continues the adventures of the hard-drinking, one-eyed cavalry officer Mike Blueberry, blending gritty frontier realism with Charlier's masterful storytelling. Later issues also feature contributions from Norwegian creators Øystein Marmøy and Heidi Grinde, adding a fresh European perspective to the legendary character's legacy.
