About the series
A bizarre and hilarious manga series from Shueisha, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo follows a wild-haired, afro-sporting hero who battles the evil Maruhage Empire using his absurd "Fist of the Nose Hair" technique. Written and illustrated by Yoshio Sawai, this surreal gag manga ran in Weekly Shōnen Jump before being collected in English by Viz Media starting in 2005. Known for its nonsensical humor, fourth-wall breaks, and eccentric cast, the series remains a cult favorite for its unapologetically weird take on the shonen battle genre.
