Body Bags

In the mid-1990s at Dark Horse, writer-artist Jason Pearson created Body Bags, a four-issue series following the gruesome, darkly comic exploits of Mack Delgado and his daughter, Panda Carmen Maria Delgado, a pair of professional assassins-for-hire. Their world is populated by grotesque figures like the villainous Clownface, blending over-the-top action with a gritty, character-driven sensibility. Pearson’s singular, dynamic art and sharp storytelling made this short-lived run a cult favorite, showcasing his distinctive voice in creator-owned comics.
