About the series
From 2012 onward, Glénat published Bouncer, a five-issue Western series crafted by the singular Alexandro Jodorowsky and artist François Boucq, who also handled the writing. Set in a lawless frontier town, the story follows a one-armed gunslinger whose brutal past and stoic code drive a grim, visually striking tale of violence and redemption. Boucq's expressive, painterly art brings Jodorowsky's signature mythic sensibility to the dusty, bloody landscapes of the Old West, making this a cult favorite for fans of surreal, character-driven comics.
