About the series
Claudio Chiaverotti’s long-running horror-fantasy series for Sergio Bonelli Editore, Brendon (1998–2014), follows a brooding, immortal hero cursed to walk the Earth through the ages. Spanning 100 issues, the visually striking series was defined by the moody, atmospheric artwork of Corrado Roi, Massimo Rotundo, and Esteban Maroto, who brought a gothic European sensibility to its sprawling, centuries-spanning narrative. A cornerstone of Italian comics, Brendon earned its reputation for dark, philosophical storytelling and lush, painterly illustration.
