Broken Gargoyles

In 2020–2021, Source Point Press released Broken Gargoyles, a three-issue miniseries that reimagines the classic protectors of the night as flawed, weary beings struggling with their own fractured identities. Created by writer David Pepose and artist George Kambadais, the story follows a disgraced gargoyle who must confront his past when a new threat emerges in the city he once guarded. With moody, expressive art and a focus on redemption and failure, this short run offers a humanizing take on stone-cold heroes.
