Brumle

Haaken Christensen’s Brumle was a short-lived Norwegian comic series published by Halvorsens bokhandel from 1940 to 1943, running for just four issues. Christensen both wrote and illustrated the title, which emerged during the early years of the German occupation of Norway. Though its run was brief, Brumle stands as a notable early example of indigenous Norwegian comics publishing during a challenging historical period.
