Since 2014, Dupuis has revived the classic aviation-adventure series Buck Danny "Classic", returning the legendary trio of Buck, Jerry Tumbler, and Sonny Tuckson to their Cold War-era roots. Anchored by the writing of Frédéric Zumbiehl and Frédéric Marniquet, with art from André Le Bras and Jean-Michel Arroyo, this thirteen-issue run strips away modern continuity to focus on high-flying espionage and aerial combat. It matters as a deliberate, fan-focused homage to the series’ original tone, keeping the spirit of the classic run alive for a new generation.
