Butterscotch (The Flavor of the Invisible)

From 1987, Catalan Communications released this single-issue comic, a collaboration between writer Tom Leighton and the celebrated Italian artist Milo Manara. Known for his sensuous, detailed style, Manara also contributed to the writing of this standalone story. A distinctive artifact of its era, the comic showcases Manara's visual storytelling at a moment when his work was gaining a wider international audience.
