Captain Future

A pulpy German space opera from Bastei Verlag, Captain Future ran for 18 issues between 1981 and 1985, adapting the classic science-fiction adventures of the brilliant "Futuremen" team. The series, most closely associated with artist José Ortiz, brought the cosmic hero's battles against galactic threats to vivid life in a compact, action-packed run. It remains a fondly remembered cult favorite for fans of vintage European comic-book sci-fi.
