Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons

A short-lived 1993 comic series from Ravette Books, Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons adapts the classic 1960s Supermarionation television series into two full-color issues. Written primarily by Alan Fennell and Angus Allan, with art by the accomplished Ron Embleton, the series captures the cold war tension of the original, pitting the indestructible Captain Scarlet against the alien Mysteron threat. Though brief, it stands as a notable mid-90s attempt to revive the Gerry Anderson property for a new generation of readers.
