Cardcaptor Sakura Comics

About the series
In this early-2000s Tokyopop release, the beloved magical-girl manga Cardcaptor Sakura by the all-female creative collective Clamp is adapted into a 34-issue comic series. With additional scripting by Anita Sengupta and art contributions from Jinky De Leon, the series faithfully follows young Sakura Kinomoto as she accidentally unleashes a set of magical Clow Cards and must recapture them to prevent disaster. It stands as a key English-language gateway to Clamp's work, bringing the series' gentle fantasy and emotional depth to a new readership during the manga boom.
