Chaperon Rouge

Published by the French publisher Aventures et Voyages in the mid-1970s, Chaperon Rouge was a short-lived, six-issue series created by writer and artist André Guerber. A dark, revisionist take on the classic fairy tale, it recast Little Red Riding Hood as a fierce, independent heroine navigating a grim, fantastical world. Though brief, the series stands as a distinctive early example of European comics deconstructing folklore, showcasing Guerber's atmospheric art and mature storytelling.
