About the series
In the late 1990s, Sirius Entertainment published Chi-Chian, a six-issue miniseries written and created by Voltaire. Set in a surreal, post-apocalyptic New York City, the story follows the titular punk-rock heroine as she navigates a bizarre underworld of mutants and corporate conspiracies. Known for its gothic, underground aesthetic and darkly humorous tone, the series stands out as a cult favorite from the era's alternative comics scene.
