Chinoiseries

A short-lived but visually striking French series from the late 1970s, Chinoiseries was a five-issue comic published by Éditions S.P.G. / E.D.H. that immersed readers in a stylized, fantasy-infused vision of ancient China. Though its run was brief, the series is remembered for its distinctive, atmospheric artwork and its contribution to the European bande dessinée tradition of exotic adventure tales.
