Alan Davis, co-creator of the Excalibur team, brought his signature British flair to Marvel UK with this short-lived but fondly remembered series. ClanDestine introduced the Destine family, a sprawling clan of super-powered immortals hidden from the world, blending superheroics with gothic fantasy. Davis wrote and drew much of the nine-issue run, with Glenn Dakin and Pino Rinaldi contributing to a story that carefully expanded its own secret mythology. It remains a cult favorite for its intricate family dynamics and Davis's lush, expressive art.
