A brief but potent single issue from Boom! Studios in 2016, Cluster introduces a tense sci-fi premise in which a group of genetically-enhanced soldiers must navigate the aftermath of a failed mission. Created by writer Ed Brisson and artist Damian Couceiro, this self-contained story explores themes of loyalty and survival against a backdrop of corporate military control. While it stands alone, the issue packs a dense, character-driven punch that showcases the talent behind it.
