Collection Detective BD

A long-running French-language series from the publisher Dargaud, Collection Detective BD is a curated anthology of detective and crime comics launched in 1981. Under the direction of editor André Guerber, the series collected standalone stories by various European artists and writers, offering a rotating showcase of noir-influenced, mystery-driven graphic narratives. Its six issues are notable for preserving a snapshot of the bande dessinée crime genre during the early 1980s.
