About the series
In the late 1970s, Kitchen Sink Press published Corporate Crime, a short-lived but sharp two-issue comic series that skewered big business and political corruption with a satirical, underground-comix edge. The series is most closely associated with the collaborative work of Kim Deitch and Larry Todd, who handled both writing and art duties. A product of the post-Watergate era, it stands as a pointed artifact of the underground comix movement's willingness to take on institutional power with dark humor and expressive, offbeat visuals.
