Crimefighters

Marvel’s Crimefighters (1948–1949) was a short-lived, ten-issue anthology series that leaned into the post-war appetite for gritty, urban justice. With art from industry stalwarts like Mike Sekowsky, Mike Becker, and a young John Buscema, the title showcased a rotating cast of masked and ordinary heroes taking on mobsters and racketeers.
