In the late 1980s, Italian publisher Edifumetto launched Cronaca nuda, a 40-issue series that blended true-crime shock with erotic pulp. The run is most associated with the painted covers of Alessandro Biffignandi and the interior art of Roberto Molino, whose lurid, photorealistic style defined the book’s gritty, voyeuristic tone. A staple of the Italian fumetto nero tradition, it stands as a raw artifact of the era’s adult-oriented newsstand comics.
