About the series
In Crossroad Blues (2018–present, Image Comics), a single-issue debut from writer and artist Sanford Greene, the series reimagines the myth of Robert Johnson with a supernatural, Southern Gothic twist. Greene’s vibrant, kinetic art and lyrical storytelling plunge readers into a world where a down-on-his-luck musician strikes a deal with a devilish figure, setting the stage for a soulful, blues-infused horror tale.
