In the near-future world of Crowded, a young woman hires a "Defender" — a private security guard — through a gig-economy app after her life is targeted by a massive, crowdfunded assassination campaign. This Image Comics series, written by Christopher Sebela with art by Ro Stein and Ted Brandt, explores a darkly satirical take on social media, surveillance capitalism, and the gig economy.
