Dark Breed

From 1999 to 2001, Dude Comics published Dark Breed, a nine-issue series that blended supernatural horror with military sci-fi. The book followed a team of genetically engineered soldiers, each with unique monstrous abilities, as they fought covert battles against otherworldly threats. Created by writer/artist Steve Carr, the series stood out for its dark, kinetic artwork and gritty, X-Files-meets-Hellboy tone, carving a small but memorable niche in late-'90s indie comics.
