In the late 1960s and early 1970s, DC Comics launched Date with Debbi, a lighthearted romance series centered on the romantic and social adventures of its spirited teenage protagonist, Debbi Anderson. Over 18 issues, the book balanced dating dilemmas with the antics of Debbi’s friends and family, including her boyfriend Buddy Baxter and her father Mr. Anderson.
