DC's Greatest Imaginary Stories
DC · 2005–2010 · 2 issues
About the series
From 2005 to 2010, DC Comics collected two issues of its "Imaginary Stories"—alternate-reality tales originally published in the Silver Age, most often penned by Bill Finger and Leo Dorfman with art by Curt Swan and Sheldon Moldoff. These reprints spotlighted the classic "what if?" tradition, exploring pivotal moments in the DC Universe that never officially happened. A fond look back at the era when creators could freely experiment with the fates of iconic heroes without continuity constraints.
