De avonturen van Kapitein Rob

A revival of the classic Dutch adventure strip, De avonturen van Kapitein Rob ran from 1995 to 1997 under publisher De Vrijheid, spanning 21 issues. This series brought back the beloved maritime hero for a new generation, continuing his seafaring exploits with a modern sensibility. While the original creator, Pieter Kuhn, had long since passed, this iteration was most notably associated with artist Hans van Oudenaarden, who honed his craft on the character for years.
