About the series
A lighthearted Dutch adventure series from Oberon, De Partners ran for eleven issues between 1979 and 1988. Writer Dick Richards and artist Carry Brugman were the creative team most associated with the strip, which followed the exploits of Danny MacDonald, the enigmatic Gravin Katia Diaghilev, and the quirky Eppo. Though a relatively short run, the series is fondly remembered for its playful tone and distinctive European comic sensibility.
