About the series
Published by Bonniers in 1979–1980, De stora äventyren was a four-issue Swedish comic series that gathered epic adventure stories from European creators. Writers Jerk Sander, Jean Ollivier, and François Lambert teamed with artists Guido Buzzelli, José Bielsa, and Eduardo Teixeira Coelho to deliver vivid, globe-trotting tales. Though short-lived, the series offered Swedish readers a curated showcase of continental adventure comics at a time when such material was less common in the Nordic market.
