Richard Corben's own Fantagor Press published this five-issue series starring his hulking, ever-questing barbarian hero, Den. Written and drawn by Corben, with assistance from Simon Revelstroke on scripting, the 1991–1992 run continues the character's psychedelic, muscle-bound adventures in the strange world of Neverwhere. It's a direct showcase of Corben's singular, painterly style and his unique blend of fantasy, horror, and dark humor, solidifying Den's place as an iconic independent comic creation.
