In the mid-1980s, Tiden Norsk Forlag brought Walter Farley's beloved Black Stallion to Norwegian comics, adapting the classic horse stories into a four-issue series. Scripted primarily by Jón Sveinbjørn Jónsson and Robert Génin, with artwork by Michel Faure, this short-lived but evocative run captures the bond between young Alec Ramsay and the wild stallion. It stands as a distinctive European translation of an American literary staple, offering a visual take on the timeless adventures.
