About the series
A sharp, four-issue Image Comics miniseries from 1998, Desperate Times is a comedic caper by writer/artist Chris Eliopoulos, with additional art by Erik Larsen. The story follows a group of down-on-their-luck superheroes who, unable to make ends meet, decide to rent out their secret headquarters for parties and other desperate schemes.
