In 1981, Det svarta hålet debuted in Sweden's Hemmets Journal, adapting Disney's film into a two-issue comic series. Writer Lars Adelskogh and Mary Carey, alongside artist Dan Spiegle, brought the sci-fi adventure of a lost spaceship and a mysterious black hole to life. Though brief, it stands as a unique European translation of a classic Disney live-action film into sequential art.
