Detektivserien

A short-lived but ambitious Norwegian crime anthology, Detektivserien ran for fourteen issues from 1962 to 1963, published by Illustrerte Klassikere / Williams Forlag. The series drew on international talent, with stories by Francis Durbridge, Mel Graff, and Philip Evans, and art from John McNamara, Graff, and an unknown painter. It stands as a curious snapshot of early-1960s European comics publishing, blending imported detective strips into a single, moody package.
