In Deus Ex: Children's Crusade (2016–present, Titan), a five-issue miniseries bridging the video game worlds of Human Revolution and Mankind Divided, writer Alex Irvine sends augmented journalist Ben Saxon to Prague to investigate a mysterious plague afflicting the city's mechanically-enhanced children. With a gritty, cyberpunk aesthetic brought to life by artists John Aggs, Michel Chassagne, and Yohann Schepacz, the story deepens the lore of the Deus Ex universe by exploring the human cost of transhumanism and the shadowy conspiracies that exploit it.
