Panini Deutschland’s Die Dresden Files (2009–present) adapts Jim Butcher’s urban fantasy novels into a compact two-issue German comic series. Published during the late 2000s boom in licensed graphic novels, it brings Harry Dresden, Chicago’s wizard detective, to a new medium with a concise, accessible storyline.
