Die Schlümpfe

Peyo’s beloved blue Smurfs made their German-language debut in this 13-issue series from Carlsen Comics, running from 1979 to 1989. Featuring classic stories written and drawn primarily by Peyo and Gos, with Yvan Delporte also contributing scripts, these adventures introduced a generation of readers to the whimsical, mushroom-village world of Papa Smurf, Smurfette, and the rest of the tiny blue characters. As the first dedicated Smurf comic series in Germany, it helped cement the franchise’s lasting popularity in the region.
