In 2006, Mareverlag launched this single-issue German-language comic, collecting classic Carl Barks Disney duck stories centered on high-seas adventures. Barks is both the primary writer and artist, with translation and adaptation by Erika Fuchs. The volume serves as a focused tribute to Barks's beloved seafaring tales, preserving a key strand of his legendary Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge work for a new generation of readers.
