About the series
In the late 1950s, Spanish publisher Editorial CID brought the classic radio serial hero Diego Valor to the comic page, blending science fiction adventure with the clean, dynamic art style of the era. Over 44 issues, the series followed the exploits of its astronaut protagonist against a backdrop of interplanetary conflict, becoming a beloved fixture of Spanish genre comics. Though the run was brief, it remains a key artifact of mid-century European space opera.
