Dirk & Desiree

From 1995 to 2002, Big Balloon published eight issues of Dirk & Desiree, a Dutch comic series written and illustrated by Hein de Kort. Blending photography with his own cartooning, de Kort created a distinctive visual style for this quirky, under-the-radar series.
