Doc Veto

Dargaud · 2000–2002 · 3 issues
About the series

In this short-lived but memorable Dargaud series from 2000 to 2002, writer and artist Éric Liberge introduced readers to the bizarre, off-kilter world of Doc Veto, a veterinarian with a very unusual practice. Across three issues, the series blended dark humor with surreal, almost Lynchian storytelling as Doc Veto treated animals with fantastical ailments in a town full of strange characters. Though brief, Doc Veto became a cult favorite for its distinctive, moody artwork and its eccentric, imaginative tone, marking a standout early work in Liberge's career.
