Doctor Zero

About the series
In the late 1980s, Marvel introduced this eight-issue series following the enigmatic Doctor Zero, a man of science whose experiments with the nature of reality left him stranded between dimensions. Written primarily by D. G. Chichester, Margaret Clark, and Chuck Dixon, with art by Dan Spiegle, Gary Kwapisz, and Denys Cowan, the book blended superhero action with a darker, more cerebral exploration of physics and identity. A short-lived but intriguing footnote to Marvel's cosmic and supernatural line, it stands out for its moody, painted-style visuals and willingness to tackle heady concepts.
