Doll

From 1989 to 1992, Guy Colwell wrote and drew all eight issues of Doll for Rip Off Press, a raw, politically charged underground series that examined power, identity, and exploitation through its title character. Colwell’s gritty, expressive art and unflinching storytelling gave the book a distinctive, confrontational voice within the alternative comics scene of the era. Though short-lived, the series remains a sharp, personal artifact of its time, showcasing Colwell’s uncompromising vision.
